17 июля 2024 года в рамках Фестиваля китайского искусства, приуроченного к перекрестному Году культур России и Китая 2024-2025, во Всероссийском музее декоративного искусства состоялся круглый стол, посвященный современной китайской живописи. Ключевым вопросом стало влияние русской школы на реалистическое искусство КНР. Мероприятие было приурочено к открытию российско-китайской выставки живописи «Пейзаж как поэзия».

С 25 по 31 пройдёт акция «Музейная неделя» для участников специальной военной операции и членов их семей. В этот период они могут не только свободно посетить экспозиции и временные выставки музея, но также бесплатно принять участие в экскурсионно-тематических программах для семейной аудитории.

Всероссийский музей декоративного искусства намерен сдать в аренду часть нежилого помещения для организации питания посетителей и работников организации культуры сроком на 3 года.

The Ministry of Culture of the Chelyabinsk Region and the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum have signed a co-operation agreement. Now the products of South Urals craftsmen will be available for Russian residents and foreign guests to see at expositions in the very centre of Moscow.

On 29 June 2024 The exhibition of the All-Russian Decorative ArtsMuseum of "Aesthetics of BAM" opened at the The Amur regional local museum of G.S. Novikov-Daursky. It is a large-scale project within the framework of the XIV International Festival "Russian-Chinese Fair of Culture and Art" dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the beginning of construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline.

June 20, 2024 in the framework of the All-Russian project "Museum Routes of Russia" in Dagestan, in the city of Makhachkala, was signed a cooperation agreement between the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum and the State Budgetary Institution "Museum - Reserve - Ethnographic Complex "Dagestan Aul". The parties expressed mutual interest in fruitful cooperation and discussed plans for the future.

Всероссийский музей декоративного искусства и Благотворительный фонд «Образ жизни» приглашают детей и их родителей совершить летнее кругосветное путешествие по выставке-презентации творческих работ подопечных фонда! Каждая работа – это удивительный взгляд на мир детей и молодых людей с особенностями развития. Здесь и неожиданные сюжеты, и применение разных техник, сочетание ярких красок и сложной геометрии. Все работы созданы в Центре дневной занятости «Дом под Солнцем», который курирует благотворительный фонд «Образ жизни». Всероссийский музей декоративного искусства рад представить своим гостям творчество молодых авторов – искреннее и вдохновляющее.

On June 8, the results of the contest "Best Books of the Year", which is held annually by the Association of Book Publishers of Russia (ASKI), were summed up. The Boslen publishing house was awarded a diploma in the category "Best Art, Photo Edition" for the book "Composed by Architect Shchusev", prepared jointly with the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum and the ABCDesign studio.

The scientific library of the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum was enriched by the publication "A.V. Shchusev and Russian Artistic Culture of the First Half of the XX Century. Elena Titova, Director of the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum , took part in the session "Museums: centers for the development of contemporary skills in the field of Creative Industries" within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The participants of the session discussed the potential and experience of museums as platforms for the development of skills in the field of Creative Industries, for the creation of new collaborations, professional dialog and exchange of experience.

On May 29, a public talk "Designed and Made in the Southern Urals" was held, organized by the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum with the support of the Agency for International Cooperation and the My Business Center of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Familiarization of the art museum "Art-Donbass" of Donetsk with the activities and collection of the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum began back in 2020. And in May 2023 the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation appointed our museum as curator of the Art-Donbass Art Museum.

From May 28 to 31, 2024 the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum takes part in the XXVII International Scientific Conference "Fashion and Design: Historical Experience - New Technologies" held by the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, the Russian Museum of Ethnography and the State Hermitage Museum. The conference aspires to discuss a range of problems concerning costume in historical perspective, textile traditions and innovations, issues of interior decoration in the context of the object-art environment, as well as the peculiarities of professional training of designers and art critics.

The Ministry of Culture of Russia has announced the program of the International Festival "Intermuseum 2024". It will be held in Moscow from May 23 to 26 at seven venues. This year's theme is "Museums are People". More than 250 experts of federal and regional scale will be speakers of the festival are. The business program includes up to 70 events, the public program - over 140.
