We invite you to make a "journey home" - into the magical world of folk decorative art! Volga "ship" carvings, house paintings of the Russian North, Gorodets spinners inlaid with moraine oak, painted chests and cabinets will present the Russian house as a real work of art. A collection of women's costumes from different regions of Russia, embroidery, lace, stitching, headdresses decorated with gold embroidery and pearls will demonstrate the high level of mastery of various techniques of artistic textiles by craftswomen in the XVIII-XIX centuries. The world of childhood and folk traditions of upbringing will be revealed by the exposition of wooden and clay toys - Sergiev Posad, Bogorod, Kargopol, Abashevskaya and other centers.
