We invite children aged 7 and older and adults to a master class on linocut! The theme is the image of the most famous bogatyr, Ilya Muromets. Each participant will create their own ‘portrait’ of the bogatyr: strong and kind, brave and reliable.
You will learn:
- what engraving is;
- the special features of linoleum engraving;
- why everything is ‘backwards’ on the printing plate;
- what Russian folk prints were about.
You will learn:
- how to carve an image with chisels;
- how to apply paint to the printing plate;
- how to make a print from the printing plate onto paper.
At the end of the master class, you will take home both prints on paper and the printing form itself so that you can continue making prints at home as gifts for your friends and family! And most importantly, we will make a print on a canvas bag!

Ticket price for the master class per participant: 1,500 roubles.
Please note! Children under 14 years of age are only allowed to attend the master class when accompanied by an adult! If the adult accompanying a child under 14 years of age is not a participant in the master class, there is no need to purchase a ticket for the master class!
