All-Russian Decorative Art Museum owns a collection of peasant primitive art of the twentieth century, which is generally referred to in the research as naive art, the most famous examples are the wood sculptures made by M.D. Korolev and V.N. Zaznobin.

Naive art, which for a long time in our country was commonly referred to as non-traditional folk art and pictorial folklore, is an organic addition to the museum’s collection being one of the tendencies within the folk art, decorative in its essence.
