MUSEUM PARTICIPATION IN THE WORK OF THE COUNCIL

Anastasia Krylova, Head of the Fashion and Design Centre, represents the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum in the Expert Council for Sustainable Development of the Russian Ecological Operator PPC.

"Our museum actively promotes the principles of sustainable design in its exhibition and educational activities. Among the nominees of the Biennale competition "Designed and Made in Russia" are designers who use recycled materials and take an ethical approach to product creation. In addition, we have organised several industry events on the topic of circular design and its role in the ESG agenda. The Museum's participation in the REO Expert Council is a new opportunity to talk about the strategic role of design in the green transformation of the economy and to organise large-scale creative projects with the support of corporations".

The council includes experts who have extensive experience in implementing projects and programmes in the field of sustainable development and circular design, climate agenda and attracting green finance. Among them are major banks: Mikhail Avtukhov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Sovcombank, Anna Baginskaya, Managing Director and Head of the PPP Centre of Sberbank, Anna Kuznetsova, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of RSHB, and Marina Slutskaya, Director of the Sustainable Development division of DOM.RF. Svetlana Bik, Head of the Expert Analytical Platform "Sustainable Development Infrastructure and Finance", member of the Expert Council on Creative Industries of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts, was appointed Chairman of the Expert Council.
