The All-Russian Decorative Art Museum of has become an official partner of the Green Square competition organised by the Russian Ecological Operator.
On 1 January 2024, applications for the Green Square competition of art objects made of waste and old things started.
The project's mission is to awaken people's consciousness of nature and consumption through art, popularise the idea of waste recycling and the principles of closed-cycle economy. The competition is timed to coincide with the World Youth Festival in 2024.
Applications will be accepted until 20 January on the contest website.
The best works of the winners of the Green Square contest will be presented at the final exhibition of the IV contest-biennale "Invented and Made in Russia" in the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum .
As part of its educational activities in the field of closed-cycle economy and promotion of circular design principles, the Russian Ecological Operator is a partner of the IV Biennale Competition "Desiigned and Made in Russia".
