The third part are the artists who began to acquire into the collection of the SRDNT in the 1980s-2000s. The purchases were made through the Commission on amateur (later folk) art of the Ministry of Culture. The commission included leading art historians of the country, specializing in this direction of art.

These works are of high artistic value and belong to the most recognized artists of naive art, so the collection is a true anthology of naive art, almost an encyclopedic collection. While in the earlier periods the naive art was attractive as a visualization of the collective consciousness, since the 1980s the individual traits of the naive artists began to be cultivated.
