01 january – 31 december
Our guests will discover the art of Russian artists and craftsmen who decorated palaces, estates and mansions of the Russian aristocracy with their works. With the help of the host children will discover the meaning of "decorative-applied art" and what makes a household item an art museum exhibit. At the exhibition children will wander into the world of familiar characters of Russian classical literature of the XVIII – XIX centuries – the very atmosphere of the Ostermann Count's Estate where the museum is located will help them do this. After the tour each participant of the program will be able to paint a porcelain saucer and take it home as a keepsake.
