The All-Russian Decorative Art Museum, with the expert support of AIRI Research Institute of Artificial Intelligence, launches a new nomination "AI-technologies in design" within the framework of the IV Biennale Competition "Invented and Made in Russia".
Today neural networks have become an integral part of human activity. The ability to interact competently with AI-tools increases the efficiency of human work and, in particular, of the designer. Artificial intelligence complements and enhances its potential and allows to create unique, personalised products that meet the needs of the market.
The new nomination evaluates the designers' ability to competently set the technical task to artificial intelligence, correctly and effectively use AI-technologies to create unique design solutions, and also takes into account the degree of applicability of products in real conditions, their usefulness and ability to solve specific problems.
When applying for the nomination, it is important to specify:
/ programme in which the participant created the work;
/ prompt - a text query that was typed in the AI chat room;
/ the result of AI-generation (3D - model of the object);
/ show the conceptualisation of the object by the designer, a brief description of the refinement (if there were refinements).
