CIRCULAR FASHION FORUM

08 february

The Circular Fashion Forum will be held on February 8. It will be devoted to the issues of fashion industry development, promotion of innovative technologies and responsible consumption, organised by the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum, together with the School of Design of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

Clothing design in the XXI century gradually goes beyond aesthetics. Although a sense of style, originality and adherence to modern trends are still of paramount importance, there is also a growing attention to the principles of circular design. This approach helps to restore the environment as waste is eliminated, materials and products remain within the system, allowing the fashion industry to be sustainable and thrive.

The discussion platform will bring together recycling and material reuse experts, designers, fashion designers and brand founders with a focus on sustainability.

The forum includes two sessions and a masterclass:

1. The circular economy and the fashion industry.

2. A masterclass on customisation and upcycling of things.

3. Fashion brands with a focus on sustainability.

The forum will be held in a hybrid format at the HSE CREATIVE HUB (53 Panteleevskaya St.) and using the VK Calls video conferencing platform.
