The participants will be able to see the best samples of Russian traditional art. Carved wooden articles of the Volga region with their special technique used in boatmaking, flying horses and birds of paradise peculiar to the paintings made in the Russian North, Gorodets spinning benches with stained oak inlays, the curves of two-handle oval-shaped drinking vessels will allow you to discover the joyful world of folk culture. In the interactive space of the Educational Center, all program participants will have a unique opportunity to get closer to folk art pieces. Not impeded by showcases anymore, they will be able to pick them up, touch and feel natural materials with their hands, as well as spin tow or smoothen wrinkles on a linen towel with a smoother. In the workshop, the program enrollees will paint a wooden spoon, which they will keep as a souvenir and memento of their visit to the museum.
The program is adapted for the visitors:

/ who are deaf or acoustically challenged (the program can be presented for groups accompanied by a sign language interpreter)

The entrance tickets to the museum for persons with first- or second-degree disabilities or a disabled child and one accompanying person are included in the price of the program.
