Conference "CIS Countries Decorative Art"
A large-scale conference, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States took place in Dushanbe, CIS Cultural Capital — 2021. Interaction of traditions between CIS countries, links of art schools and individual masters were in focus. Museums, art institutes and individual listeners joined the conference par zoom.
Round Table "Russian Language for Museum Professionals in CIS Countries"
The Constitution of Tajikistan declares Russian language the language of intercultural communication.
The Round table gathered representatives of nine CIS countries. They discussed different ways to use Russian language in museum work and agreed that it is absolutely necessary in each and every CIS country and not just as a way of communication, but as the key to the knowledge accumulated by the researchers in the past. The resolution of the Round Table suggests to create a common cultural space in the Commonwealth.
