The All-Russian Decorative Art Museum presents the virtual exhibition “Encyclopedia of Russian Lacquer Miniatures: History, Heritage and Modernity”. Together we will go on a journey that will introduce you to the history of lacquer art, tell you about the ancient centers of lacquer miniatures, and tell you the secrets of manufacturing and painting technology. More than 2,000 museum exhibits are presented in various formats and animated scenes.
The project is supported by the Russian Cultural Foundation and presents the heritage of the national culture not only as part of historical memory, but also as a tradition for the future.
