We prepared a series of eight video lectures on the history of Russian design and arts and crafts, made as part of the cultural and educational project “The Veshch! The Objective World and the Values of Russian Culture: Reconstruction and Actualization", implemented with the support of Foundation grants.
The lecture course will demonstrate the influence of the main types of development of design and decorative arts in Russia on the work of contemporary designers and artists, emphasizing the continuity of the breeds.
You will get acquainted with the unique exhibits from the museum collection, the works of designers participating in the exhibition, as well as a series of historical reconstructions of significant objects from the history of Russian design, made specifically for the exhibition.
