The All-Russian Decorative Art Museum is actively developing the projects in the field of design-diplomacy and starts cooperation with the "Business Centre for CIS Economic Development" association.
Within this framework the Museum launches "Commonwealth Design"- a companion project to the IV All-Russian competition-biennale of object design "Designed and Made in Russia"
The main goals of the project are:
/ demonstration of the best examples of industrial, studio and jewellery design of the Commonwealth, including circular solutions;
/ networking and expert exchange between design communities;
/ international promotion and support of the countries' creative potential.
Designers and brands from Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will have an opportunity to participate in the special project "Commonwealth Design" and the business programme of the Competition.
With the support of the association "Business Centre for CIS Economic Development" the Museum will organise a discussion platform acting within the framework of the Eurasian Light Industry Summit (21 - 24 March 2024). The platform will present the special project "Commonwealth Design" and host a expert discussion of the possibilities of cooperation between the countries in the field of design and fashion.
