The program is devoted to the history of Russian wooden toys and famous toy manufacturing centers – Sergiev Posad, Bogorodskoe, Gorodets, Polkhov-Maidan, Semyonov. Participants of the program will find the answer to the question as to what were the favorite images of the toy-makers for many centuries and why, how old are matryoshkas, and also they will play with Sergiev Posad and Bogorodsk toys and will then hand-paint a matryoshka, which they will keep as a keepsake.
