INCLUSIVE PROGRAM "METAL FAIRY TALE"

01 january – 31 december

Theme of the program "Metal Tale" – art of Russian blacksmiths and metal artists. Participants will gain an understanding of the nature and decorative properties of various metals and alloys – gold, silver, copper, bronze and iron. In the halls of folk art program participants will see the works of blacksmiths, craftsmen handicrafts (gold embroidery), learn the origin of the expression: "dawdle". In the halls of decorative-applied arts, the host will talk about different methods of gilding, what is embossing, filigree, granite. In the workshop participants will be able to experience themselves as jewelry masters and make an exquisite flower from foil. For older visitors we have prepared a more complex workshop – making jewelry in the technique of chain weaving.

The program is adapted for visitors:


/ blind and visually impaired
/ deaf and hard of hearing (the program is conducted for groups accompanied by a sign language interpreter)
/ with peculiarities of mental development
