The Soviet artistic glass of the XX century is represented in the collections by works of author's and factory glass, made by artists from different kinds of glass with the use of various processing and decorating techniques.
This variety of works makes it possible to present the whole range of techniques and artistic methods used by the leading Soviet artists of several generations starting from the 1920s and ending with the later Soviet period, when bold experiments with form, color, and technological methods of processing various kinds of glass and crystal were performed, resulting in the creation of many works of the highest artistic level.
