An exhibition of the artist Andrei Karpov opens in the All-Russian Decorative Arts Museum. Art critics call his style "intellectual naive", paying tribute to the humor and warmth in his multi-figure compositions. The irony and paradoxical nature^ the masterfullness of the artist's works arouses the interest of collectors, gallery owners, and art dealers around the world.

The exhibition presents more than 70 paintings by the author - "Free Delivery of Time", "Moscow", "On the Edge of the Earth", "Football", "Birch Forest" and others. You will also see 16 bronze sculptures created by the artist in 2024.

Andrei Karpov was born in 1959 in Tula. Lives and works in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (PhIztech). As an artist, he has been working in various techniques for over 40 years: painting, graphics, book illustration, sculpture and ceramics, and is also involved in carpet, furniture and interior design. All these years, he has been actively exhibiting both in Russia and abroad.

Andrey Karpov's works are in various foundations, corporate and private collections in Russia, the USA, Great Britain, Austria, Japan, France, Italy, Greece, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, as well as in the Museum of Modern Art Mohammed VI in Morocco, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, in art museums in Tula, Novokuznetsk, Dmitrov, Penza.

A film about Andrey Karpov, "Seasons in Seattle", was shot at the Studio of Popular Science Films in Moscow in 1994.
