At the masterclass you will be able to create your own unique print of a Christmas Advent calendar on a shopper bag and on kraft paper, which will be a wonderful addition to a Christmas gift or a full-fledged card. We invite you to invent and tell your own story for each date of the calendar and embody it in your print, and you can always find new inspiration in the objects’ patterns and decorations at the exposition of our museum.
At the masterclass you will learn:
/ what is engraving
/ what are the peculiarities of engraving on linoleum
/ why everything is ‘the other way round’ on the printed form.
During the masterclass you will learn how to:
/ cut out an image with chisels
/ apply ink to the printing plate
/ make an impression from the printing plate on paper
At the end of the master class you will take with you not only the prints on the shopper bag and paper, but also your printing plate to make prints from it at home as a gift for your friends!
